Since 2014, when I started my photographic journey, I’ve travelled to many amazing places and have made too many memories to count. Whether it be sledding down the massive pitches at Great Sand Dunes National Park, flying in a helicopter to see a unique perspective of The Big Island’s northern coast, or shooting the stars in central California, the experiences I’ve had have created some wonderful stories, and I am very happy to be able to share those stories with you all.
In late 2018 I began working on this book, which takes a behind the scenes look into my favorite photos from the last 4 years, from my very first photo to some of my most recent. It chronicles my trips across the Western United States, along with Hawaii and Spain, going over what each of the trips was like, so you can better understand what all went into making each of these photos happen!
In may 2019, I released the 2nd edition of ‘Beginning’, with a new and improved design, as well as a new cover (chosen by you, the supporters)! This book features all of the same stories and photos as the 1st edition, so don’t worry you’re not missing out if you bought the 1st edition.
With this new 2nd Edition, I am also releasing an ‘Eco-edition’, which has the same new design but with a more Earth-centered theme. This edition will be priced 13 dollars higher at $29.99, and 100% of sales of this book will be donated to the NRDC (Natural Resource Defense Council), whose mission is to protect the planet, its natural resources, and the beings who rely on those resources by trying to affect change at the highest level.
